Swimwear fabric operates under conditions that most materials can't sustain — chlorine, salt water, UV exposure, repeated stretching. We use only fabrics engineered specifically for this environment.

At the core of that performance is the elastomeric fibre — the element that gives swimwear its shape and recovery. RESQMÉ uses only the highest-grade elastomeric fibres available, engineered to resist sunscreens and oils far more effectively than standard alternatives.

Colour that holds

A swimwear fabric that fades after one season isn't worth the investment. Our fabrics are selected for their ability to retain colour under sustained UV and chlorine exposure — so the piece you buy looks the same at the end of summer as it did at the start.

ECONYL® — recycled nylon, no compromise

We don't talk about sustainability as a trend. We've offered recycled fabric options for years because it's the right thing to do — not because it's the fashionable thing to say.

Select RESQMÉ pieces are produced in ECONYL® regenerated nylon — a yarn made entirely from pre- and post-industrial waste: discarded fishing nets, textile offcuts that would otherwise end up in landfill. The process, developed by Aquafil SpA, chemically recovers and renews these materials into a yarn that is identical in quality to virgin nylon — and infinitely recyclable.
